Goodbye beautiful girl

It is with great sadness and heartache that the Pritchard family informs you of the passing of their beloved Winnie.

She was taken ill at the weekend and passed away in her sleep this morning.

Whilst we are stunned by the suddenness of her departure we remember her with much happiness. The joy she brought into our house was immeasurable and the new vistas she opened up for us made the world a smaller place.

Our thanks go to our friends around the world, drawn to us by Winnie, who said a prayer for her and who will now express their sympathy.

Winnie was a beautiful greyhound whose presence in our lives enriched us incredibly.

Her final race is now run.

RIP Winnie Pritchard

Oh Elaine I am so very sorry. You gave Winnie a loving home. I know my Song is playing with her at The Bridge, so she'll be well looked after until you see her ahgain.

I know how you are feeling as my Song's sudden passing is still with me.

I hope when the time is right you will open you heart and home to another beautiful Greyhound.

Sending hugs to you and the family.

Oh no.... I've just found your blog, and see such sad news.

All I can do is send you a hug and tell you I know how it feels.

Our first greyhound, Jim, passed away in his sleep at 13 1/2 years old. In fact, I was glad for him that he died in his own way, in his own bed, and that I didn't have to make the decision for him. In time, perhaps that will be a comfort to you, too.
