Poodle Doodle Doo

Some people have fairies at the bottom of their garden, I'm told - we have poodles.

When I say at the bottom of the garden, I actually mean that they live in a house that is sideways on behind our back garden fence.

Three miniature poodles live there. They look like they should be in a cute picture book. One is black, one is white and one is brown.

I should really have talked about this on Mischief Monday because if I go into the back garden and I can tell that they are out in THEIR garden, sniffing and being quiet, I run straight to the fence between us and just give one really loud and deep "WOOF" to make them jump.

This kicks off the most amazing barking in three part harmony from the poodles who just go crazy barking back in wild excitement for ages and ages. I just turn and walk away as if nothing's happened. I look so casual as if it's nothing to do with me. I am almost whistling, I am so casual.

Who? Me? No, surely not.

We think we have a poodle at the bottom of our garden as well. It's a black fluffy thing. We race up and down the fence with her and bark lots.

Winnie, we can see you are mistress of the casual look.
I love barking at my Aberdeen next door neighbours Molly Springer Spaniel (one side) and Ruby Briard (other side) but they are not so easily scared.
Toodle pip!

Well we are much worse. We have a mini schnauzer who lives next store. When he goes into his yard, we share a fence. We go ape barking and jumping. Mom and Dad have to exercise ceaseless vigilance to make sure we dont go out at the same time. Sigh

Are you friends with the poodles Winnie? I'm not sure! Do you talk back to them? They sound kind of fun to me!

Hey Winnie!
Wow, what a fun trick on the neighbor pooches! Teeheehee. Wind them up then walk away. I'd love to see (and hear) a video of that. BOL.

It doesn't take much to set poodles off, and then they can be the ones to get into trouble. Good job Winnie.

I think I do sometimes hear raised voices over the fence as the poodles are asked to be quiet.....Is that my fault, do you think?

I will try and get a picture of them. Their mum is very nice and came to let me out in the garden once when the LOTH had to be a way working for a few hours.

Ha ha ha! Winnie, I like your style! I think if we had poodles in the backyard, I'd do the very same thing!

Hi

You're really funny, I am wondering how cute the poodle is when they was "woof" by you.

Dear Winnie,

Sorry for not dropping in awhile :) I've been busy working (helping mom) thus kind of forgot to update my blog.

I might not be able to post as often as before so please head over to my newest post and leave a comment so I could add you on mom's new site. With this we could still keep in contact and it'll easier for me to drop by often to your page :)

Love,
Autumn & Jasmine
