But he isn't - and he even throws my Winnie the Pooh toy for me (see picture below) and plays with me. He's the best.
This blog started when the Pritchard family adopted retired racing greyhound - Winnie. It still carries her name. Winnie died at Christmas 2012. This blog has now been archived and is no longer updated

Winnie....he realizes that you're only trying to help him plant his garden!
Good gardeners always appreciate a good digging assistant!
How can he be upset? You are a great helper. And good help is hard to find.
Blessings,
Goose
That's a nice toss! They never stay mad at us for too long, eh?!
After a while they give in - they realize the yard does look nicer with a few dozen holes in it.

I always feel bad when I admire your digging skills, Winnie, but you're just so darn good at it. Maybe the Man of the House just recognizes your excellence and bows to that. Your cute face probably doesn't hurt either.
Winnie good entry for the digging event in the Blogville Olympics!
Best wishes Molly
Aww, he loves you, Winnie. :-)
You have a great MOTH there, Winnie! I'd say that he's a keeper!
Bunny
Gosh Winnie it never even occurred to me that digging the back garden might be considered a trial of the patience of one's human. You are indeed a very thoughtful dog.
Toodle pip!

Winnie, your Dad loves you. You work so hard at gardening :-)
Thanks all. I think I will have to enter the Olympics digging challenge, won't I.
Dad has talked about building a pond in the hole.... so I might be ready for swimming soon. (I think he was joking).
Love and licks, Winnie
I don't think anyone could be cross with you, sweet woofie!
There could be buried treasure under there.
Well that's just precious! Who could ever be cross with you, Winnie! You're precious!
Happy seeing beautiful!

hehe good to see another garden looking like ours, Winnie you're a star
Love Sue and the Taylor hounds xxxx
I think a pond would be great. Maybe you should dig your own.
Bailey understands your need to express yourself thru digging. She has a nice network of trenches running thru the yard and avoids Dad on lawn mowing days when her art puts him in a bad mood.
Morgan and the Porties
Aww, Winnie - you dad sure does love you :)
