The Man Of The House and the Girl Of The House have gone to Dublin!
Apparently, this means they will be drinking something called Guinness (which according to an old advertising slogan "is good for you")
Something has obviously been good for a Japanese dog called Pusuke because he's now in the Guinness Book of Records for being the oldest living dog in the world. Is there a connection do you think?
Anyway, back to the Dublin holiday. This was a birthday/Father's Day present for the MOTH from us all.
I don't mind being here at home with the Lady and Boy Of The House - although the boy has three friends round tonight for a sleepover and I am hoping they keep the noise down as they are 'sleeping' downstairs in the room next to me and I need my beauty sleep.
In honour of the MOTH - and the fact that I will miss him - here's a picture of us having a bit of rest and recuperation from our busy lives before he left. (I don't think he's quite as relaxed about having his picture taken as me).

I hope our house people have a fantastic trip! At least you get to stay in your own home while they are gone! Thanks for stopping by my blog, nice to meet you, new friend!
We hope they have a great trip and have fun!!! Lots of love, Debbie & Holly
I hope the MOTH and GOTH have a lot of fun on their trip! Think of it this way, Winnie. Even if the BOTH and his friends are loud tonight, you can still sleep all day tomorrow! I hope you have uninterrupted sleep and sweet dreams!

What a cute picture! My papa LOVES Guinness! My mama visited Dublin back in her twenties and loved it - though she doesn't like Guinness! Hope they have a great trip!
Your pal, Pip

No way I can argue with that title!
We read about that dog today - 26!!!! Amazing. Must be something about living in Japan.
We hope the MOTH and the Girl of the House have a wonderful time in Ireland. Mom and Dad would love to visit there one day.
A boy sleepover??? It could get a little loud, Winnie - got any earplugs:)

Hi Winny,
We 'biggify' the photo and noticed that the MOTH is not smiling at the camera - he doesn't like to have his photos taken?
Anyway, wishing him a good trip to Dublin and hopefully, he'll come back with some yummy treats or toys for you!
Love,
Homer
Do they make doggy Guinness? Winnie, you are going to have your paws full with all those boys....good luck.

Winnie, it must make you happy to think how much longer that MOTH will now live, having had the opportunity to consume all that Guinness...
Toodle pip!

Winnie, Hope the boys let you get your beauty sleep.
Also hope the Ireland trippers have a fab time.
I hope the boy and his cohorts let you sleep!
