This blog started when the Pritchard family adopted retired racing greyhound - Winnie. It still carries her name. Winnie died at Christmas 2012. This blog has now been archived and is no longer updated
Oh, that's a good thing to be, Winnie. Cuz The Ninjas like to chew up shoes, you know. It's happened in my house more than once so you better keep your eyes open. Cuz those The Ninjas are sneaky!
Hi Winnie and all my new friends. My name is Omar Blue. I'm a blue dobe. I lead a pack of fierce but loving canines and we've formed K-9 Town, USA. We've turned our town into a refuge for abused and lonely canines. A beautiful female greyhound named Chloe recently found us before we went for her. Her abusers are very lucky. My mom writes a blog all about the day to day happenings of me and my pack. I wish you all would come over to meet Chloe and stay awhile.
Did you collect those, or did they happen to be there already. Roxie used to collect shoes in her younger days. She didn't chew on them, like a certain whippet I know named Zoe, but she just liked to relocate them. :)

I love sleeping on the shoes sometimes. Smells great! xoxo Winnie Cooper
Hi Y'all!
When I guard the shoes, I take them in put them in a safe place. If you do that, you get paid (treats) to return them.
Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
You are obviously doing a very fine job Winnie. Keep up the good work.

Oddly, no-one ever seems to want to leave their shoes in my safe keeping. I wonder why....
Toodle pip!

I'm sure your whole family rests easier knowing you're on the job, Winnie! Tee hee!

Our cat is the guardian of shoes, here at our house, somebody has to do it!
Looks like you're doing a great job guarding those stinky shoes!
Winnie, you have a very important job and are doing it very good!! Lots of love, Debbie & Holly
No shoes get left on the floor here, some little pup might decide they are her toys:)

give them all a good chew.

They look like walkin' shoes to us. Guard them well and don't let anyone out of the house without you!

at least you aren't the "eater of the shoes" like our Sheltie Dakota is!

That is a very important job!
Happy Wednesday!

I have to admit I like a good shoe every now and then. Mom is very careful but dad slips up sometime.
It's a hard job, but someone has to do it!
Your pal, Pip
You're doing a bang up job Winnie. I'm not allowed anywhere NEAR the shoes. Seems that I find Italian Leather just a tad too tasty...whoops
Are you also Chewer of the shoes? Surprise for you on my blog.
K, you guard the shoes, I'll guard the socks ;)
Waggin at ya,
Roo
