Stepping up to the mark

So here I am, minding my own business, thinking it is about time for the Lady Of The House to head out to a weekly dance class she's joined.

But instead she starts digging around in the cupboard under the stairs and appears eventually with this long blue box.

She puts this old video on the television and then starts hopping on and off the blue box. Well, naturally I am concerned. So I go over to see if she needs any help.

She seemed to be breathing quite heavily, so I start barking to summon help. But she tells me she's all right really. Plus, my friends Benny and Lily posted a blog about exercise this week so that helped me understand what was going on here.

No emergency, so I'll go and lie down again.

Today I am again joining the Saturday Pet Blog Hop hosted by Life With Dogs, Two Little Cavaliers and Confessions of the Plume.

If you'd like to join in and make new pet blogger friends, please follow your three hosts, add your blog to the Linky and copy and paste this week's new Linky code into the html editor of your own blog. The list will automatically update on everyone's blogs as new sites add themselves over this weekend and we can all hop from blog to blog and find out everybody's news. Thanks again to our three hosts for putting on the hop!
If you follow a new blog after finding them in the blog hop - please let them know that you found them on the Saturday Pet Blog Hop.

Hey Winnie!
Wow, sounds like your Mom is tapping into her inner Jane Fonda. Feel the burn. Very nice of you to check in on her...then I'm sure you were ready for a nap. Great pix.

Tee hee! I hope your LOTH appreciated your concern! My mom ought to do more of that sort of thing, but she relies on me and Morgan to get her out of the house and moving around. I don't know what she'd do without us! She says she'd be doing yoga in peace, but I think she's full of it!

We have to agree with Daisy, Kendra, and Bella - walks are so much more fun that silly videos. And that gets us furries some exercise too.

And how much jumping did you do? I bet Mom would have loved to have had you to jump with! :-)

Good one, Winnie!
The same happened here when my mom got her treadmill but now I am used to it!
Happy weekend!

Winnie....tell her you want your own blue box to jump up on...or a smaller version to play fetch with....or a larger version with faux fur to lie down on and watch from!

I know! I get it! When my human starts hopping about I want to join in. So I jump up and do the play bow and bark and snuff... UMPH, then I get told "enough"?! Jeesh, these humans can be so flickle.

Just a hint, if she lays in the floor and tries to "sit up" you MUST lick her in the face. It serves as motivation. :)

Yeah, we don't really understand when they get out the exercise "equipment". Why don't they just swim and do really fast zoomies like us???
