Crazy owners - Please make it stop

Sometimes, when I'm relaxing in one of my little cosy corners, minding my own business, the Lady Of The House feels obliged to come and sing to me.

I don't really know what I've done to deserve it - but it must have been something VERY BAD!

Sometimes she's does a strange little sitting down dance.

It's usually inspired by a song she likes on the radio.

On this occasion it was Crazy Horses by The Osmonds.

Please, someone, tell me how to make it stop?

Oh my God Winnie that is simply dreadful news. I do hope it isn't catching. The thought of Gail singing AND dancing....The horror.

Oh gosh Winnie, I amtruly sorry for you.

I know that the human can be quite mysterious sometimes.

To understand them completely would probably mean the end of our species.

Because then we dogs and cats would be perfect and then be translated into heaven.

Since I like this world, I figure i'll just take the little quirky things they say and do with a grain of salt.

My advice to you, is to learn how to look her in the eyes, but be far away in your mind......

It works for me.

Love ya
Bert

Bawhahahahaha! Winnie, this is hysterical! Some day maybe you can get a video of her singing - hide it in your bed and then expose her singing to the world. BOL!

Your pal, Pip

If you can't be far away in your mind like Bertie suggested MAYBE a pair of doggie earplugs/earmuffs. OR just hide your head under a blanket....Sometimes we pups have to put up with a lot from the humans in our pack

I think it's some kind of crazy compulsion humans can't resist. There's no guaranteed way to make it stop, but often howling along seems to quiet them down. I am SO sorry that your LOTH is afflicted!

Winnie, The polite thing to do is to get up and walk away:)

At least someone loves you enough to sing to you. Not everyone is so lucky. :-)

Oh yea, Pawrents can be very weird! My Mom makes up songs about me, she cannot carry a tune but it makes her very happy and that makes me happy!

But Mom never wakes me up to sing to me, that is just not right!

woos, Tessa

when you figure out how to make it stop, please share the secret so I can use it for my Mom :)

Mr. Pip has the right idea - you definitely have to get it on video - and then let all your blog pals hear her. Mom says she probably has a beautiful voice, but we bet she can't woo like us:)

So sorry you don't like your Mommy's singing. I love it when Mommy and I sing and dance together. We are hoping to do "freestyle" together some day. I love music and Mommy.

Winnie, we feel your pain! Our mom sometimes tries to sing and the neighbors turn their music up. Me and the kitties have our paws over our ears too!! If she tries to dance, it is embarrassing and we are all glad the blinds are shut! Lots of love, Holly & the kitties
