Big thank you

As Monkey the greyhound finds his paws in his new world I too am finding my feet in the blogosphere. I hope you will forgive me for not posting individual replies to all of you who have welcomed Monkey and myself into your lives. I am very conscious of having to tread carefully in this new world and would rather not leave a proverbial mess on someone's blog carpet.
Monkey and I are finding our way together in this new adventure and I hope you will bear with us as we come to know each other and yourselves.
I think Monkey will probably understand his world quicker than I will. I am after all an older dog than him and you know what they say about new tricks.

I've only just caught up and found out you have a new Grey! Congratulations, He looks a lovely boy. My Mums were just like you when they got me; they wanted the exact opposite of their old dog Flynn, who was a big black & white lad, They were thinking, small, female, black. I am a big blue & white boy and the nephew of their old dog.
Lovely to have your household back blogging again. Say Hi to Elaine & give a welcoming hug to monkey from my Mums and me! Deccy x

Just one step at a time. It's an adventure of that there is no doubt. But one filled with wonderful wonderful things and friends.

I am sure Monkey and you will be just fine. He obviously chose you because he could tell you'd give him the forever home he's longed for and you had no choice but to pick him, as he made an impact on your heart.

Just remember to enjoy every single second.

I don't usually answer a lot of posts on our blog, either, because people don't usually get back to read them. But what I try to do is answer questions for people on their blogs so I'm sure they get the answer! I'm not perfect, though, there are times when I forget. I'm really happy to see Monkey settling in and doing so well!

Very proud of my lovely husband for tackling the steep learning curve of blogging while I'm working.

I knew all those lovely, lovely bloggers who helped me and Winnie learn the ropes would be there for him.

Thank you so much for all your help and support when we lost Winnie and now when we have lovely Monkey learning what's what with us.

I just wanted to say I'm finding your blog incredibly useful, and please keep it up! We are first-time grey owners, having brought home four year old Emmie, a blue girl, three weeks ago. We have cats so we threw ourselves in the deep end, but aside from a few small incidents she's mostly been extremely easy. Having said that - she's definitely entered the testing the boundaries phase. I've had to order her off our bed twice today!
