What? Who? Me?
Actually, that headline is ALL WRONG! Today's carol with new words is ALL the work of the Lady Of The House. Feel free to tell her it's rubbish.
(Sing to the tune of While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks By Night)
Oh, Winnie get some socks tonight
You've dug another crater
The house is full of grass and mud
Long greyhound toes trap so much dirt
You've brought in half the garden
You never seem to look ashamed
Or say "I beg your pardon".
If Santa brought some Greyhound boots
The floors would stay much cleaner
And when I saw you digging
I would be a little keener.
To sunny warm Australia?
I don't think you can dig that far
I think you're doomed to failure.
I'd miss you if you went to Oz
I hope that you're not going
The good thing is that thanks to you
("That's because we have no lawn any more, really" - the LOTH)
Yes, yes. We get it. Fine.
Changing the subject, we have had a few requests for "Silent Night" so we are going to work on that next.
Actually, I WILL. Because the LOTH is clearly not in the proper Christmas spirit.

LOVE your caroling skills! WHN (What's Her Name)BFF from college and his wife have a resuced greyhound retired racer like you- he was a huge gray! (He went to the Bridge several years ago)
Ah, Winnie, do you tink her is tryin' to tell you sometin? Jus tell her you is practicin' your gardening skills because you're goin' to plant her some flowers!
Winnie, I am indignant! My mom is laughing like mad and she says that those could be MY feet in the picture. Hmph! Just because I want to see China doesn't mean people should mock me!
You take requests? Would "Do You Hear What I Hear" be a possibility?
Bunny
LOL - I lost it at the last verse. Hilarious!
That was great. Winnie sure is a digger. Poor lawn, but she's so happy. :-)
Oh my goodness, Winnie. You have to be the best Greyhound digger in the world.
Your caroling is awesome! Your photo skills are very cool too. : )

Thanks for the Christmas carol! Those are some mighty impressive holes in the yard. Oh what fun it is to dig a diggy hole today!
An impressive hole you've dug, my friend!!
Sure glad Song isn't a digger.
Looking forward to Silent Night.
Absolutely lovely. Although those Down Under may not appreciate the rhyme of Australia with failure!
Looking forward to Silent Night,
Cheers, Gail and Bertie.
