This blog started when the Pritchard family adopted retired racing greyhound - Winnie. It still carries her name. Winnie died at Christmas 2012. This blog has now been archived and is no longer updated
We think we would be very interested in all those great smells in the tall grass too, Winnie. The humans are sometimes very hard to understand:)Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
What did you smell in the grass??? Any little animals over there?
My dog would rather smell the grass too. I don't get it. She also likes to eat it. Silly dogs who don't understand us even sillier humans. ;-)
Song is the same, a real sniffer:)Are the menfolk anglers?
Winnie, we can never understand our humans. Mom loves to look into the water. I looked several times and never did see the thrill of it. The grassy parts are much better for me too!! Lots of love, Holly
Water is good IF there are ducks and stuff on it. But sniffing is fantastic!XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella
Water puts humans into trances...it's an instant on/off thing...so get into the long grass and check out the smell!
Looks like a lovely outing!
Winnie,I couldn't agrees wif you more! :)Woofs and Licks,Maggie Mae
Tee hee hee! In that first picture I misread it and thought you said "peeing into the lake!" Oh, now I have the roos! I think it would be much more discreet to go in the grass! I am glad that you had a fun walk, even if it was cold!Bunny
Looks like a nice walk. I like water IN THE SUMMER, but not in the cold winter. Best to stay inside where it is nice and comfy cozy.Your pal, Pip
That does look like a nice walk with lots of smells. We don't go to the lack often, but I did find out Miss M gets totally freaked out by the ducks. You seem quite calm.
Sure it was a pawesome trip to the lake... to sniff interesting things on the ground!Happy Monday!Kisses and hugsLorenza
Was there a squirrel in the grass?? The pictures are beautiful! Glad you had a good time.
